In 1998 Lyn Prashant wrote her part of and still teaches in teaches The Somatic Aspects of Grief as part of a respected professional teaching team for the "New Paradigms in Loss and Grief in the New Century" course taught at University of California Berkeley. This is the first course in a five-course series offered by the UC Berkeley Extension Professional Sequence in the Study of Loss and Grief. The program is designed for health and mental health professionals to enable them to advance their learning in theis specialized area of practice.
